Brindisa Kitchens

Elizabeth is a true Hospitality Marketeer and has been employed by our group as Marketing Manager since 2015. Her finger very much on the pulse of the hospitality scene in London. Hospitality is very much in her blood and Elizabeth jumps seamlessly from operationally running a pop-up to designing a pitch pack. It is this versatile and adaptive adaptable approach that our industry needs from a Marketeer. Rather than outsourcing she prefers to learn, nurture and harness those required skillsets within herself and her team and as a result, budgets are maintained and goals are scored quicker.

 Joining us three years ago, she was given the mammoth task of setting up and managing our first Marketing Department and Brand strategy overhaul in 14 years while keeping it true to the core values of the Brindisa brand which was established in1988. Her department is 4 staff members strong and they’ve come on from strength to strength. I know one of her proudest achievements is taking one of our waiters, with only some marketing training but  no marketing experience, and developing him into a fully-fledged digital marketeer. Together they have grown our Instagram from 200 to 25k+ in 2 years and given us a strong digital edge over our industry.

For us, the pinnacle of her achievements was actioning and project managing the group rebrand. We tackled every touchpoint, from uniforms to our digital footprint, which culminated in the refurbishment and rebrand of three sites as well as a new opening in Battersea in which Elizabeth played a vital part in everything from aesthetics to menu development. Together we took a tangled mess of brand, offer, positioning and audience, pulled it apart and created something cohesive and truly authentic. This structured and newly organised mentality she brings has trickled down into all departments including influencing our sister company Brindisa Wholesale.  It has been hugely rewarding and the performance of our group is on a healthy upwards curve with the efforts of our Head Office and restaurant teams

We have taken our iconic family run restaurant group and pulled it back into the public eye and industry limelight. She has re-established our identity, our authenticity with storytelling and consistency not by using discounts or heavy handed, pushy sales techniques which you see from so many of our peers. No matter how competitive this industry, Brindisa Kitchens quality of product and service at the mid-market price point we operate in, has simply been visibly enhanced and nurtured by the hard work and continuing creativity of Elizabeth and her team.

I would 100% recommend working with Biff. I started my own jewellery business a year ago and was dreading the marketing phase. I was overwhelmed by all the potential avenues available, and worried that I would lose money on strategies that wouldn’t necessarily deliver. Biff’s approach took me back to our core brand values and from there filtered out marketing avenues that wouldn’t suit our long term goals.
