Restaurant Refurbs
Project Manager, Creative & Marketing
It is crucial for any business to put as much stake in investing in refurbishments and consolidation as it is innovation and expansion. As what tends to happen is brands plough forward with launch after launch and become a tangled mess of messaging, aesthicts and ethos. Then a great deal of head scratching is done when sales begin to stagger.
In some degrees this what happened with Brindisa’s restaurants. All restaurants had an identity crisis both in the sense of brand but also how those sites interacted and integrated with their locations. We wanted to consolidated, but not in the cookie cutter way, placing a huge emphasis on bringing the unique personality of each out whilst ensuring the group’s aesthetic and cultural DNA was imprinted on the foundation.
This cumulated in a rebrand project I actioned and managed in which we reestablished the brand, redefined all touchpoints and offers, reinvigorated the messaging and refurbished 3 sites:
Brindisa Shoreditch (by Creative Family) 2016
Brindisa Soho (by Article Design Studio) 2017
Brindisa Rupert Street (by Article Design Studio) 2017
I was involved in every stage from populating websites, brand activation, managing project timelines to serving waitressing on the launch nights.
